Not only am I passionate about planning travel, but I am a traveling advisor. I visit properties, meet with travel suppliers and hotel managers, and experience adventures all along the way. I do all of this to develop and deepen my relationships with travel suppliers and to vet properties. I can create unique experiences for my clients because of these relationships and also due to my host agency’s membership in a leading travel consortium, the Travel Leaders Network. Travel Leaders has a network of preferred suppliers with proven track records of excellent travel products and service for their customers. 

Just as I build strong relationships within the industry, I also build strong relationships with my clients. I endeavor to understand all of my clients’ travel dreams and desires so that I can create custom itineraries and provide top-notch service.

The nature of my services alleviates all travel planning stress for you. Not only do I research and develop your vacation itinerary, but I also can book and manage all components of your vacation (including excursions, tours, spa, and dining reservations, if you so choose). I will confirm (and reconfirm) your reservations prior to travel and provide you with support while you are traveling. In the event that issues arise prior to or during your trip, I will liaise with the travel supplier to resolve your problem (which will save you time and headache).

What if I just want some VIP amenities at a luxury hotel and do not need full travel planning services?

I have you covered! For a significantly reduced travel planning fee, I can offer you VIP amenities at the luxury hotel of your choice, provided you know the exact hotel that you want to book. These amenities usually include daily breakfast, resort credit, a room upgrade (subject to availability), and early check-in/late check-out (subject to availability). Some hotels even offer complimentary airport transportation or other perks. The value of these amenities is worth more than the travel planning fee that you will pay. In addition, I will assist you by liaising with the hotel to ensure that you have an enjoyable stay. Note that VIP amenities are only available when booking the standard hotel rate and cannot be combined with any type of discount or promotion offered by the hotel.

How should I prepare for my initial consultation?

To prepare for your initial consultation with me, think about the type of experience you imagine yourself having on vacation. You don't have to know an exact location or destination, but you should have a vision. Do you want a relaxed beach vacation or an adventurous trek through multiple countries? Is cultural immersion a priority for you? Who will be traveling with you, and what will their expectations of this trip be? 

Just as important as experience is budget. I specialize in luxury travel, which can mean different things to different people. Luxury does not always mean expensive. Most of my clients are seeking value in their vacation investment. Many are willing to spend extra money in order to have the most ideal experience, especially for once-in-a-lifetime trips. I always seek to ensure that my clients stay in at least four-star hotel accomodations, as comfort is a number one priority. 

Do I need travel insurance?

I highly recommend that all of my clients purchase travel insurance to protect their vacation investment. Many trips, such as tours and cruises, involve non-refundable funds paid months in advance. Travel insurance protects you from losing this investment. Perhaps even more important is the “during travel” coverage and assistance, such as trip interruption due to illness or unforeseen circumstances. Without travel insurance, these situations can become very expensive, and medical care abroad is often not covered by domestic insurance plans. I offer travel insurance options to all of my clients for their trips.
